Dua
Dua Lipa, an English singer-songwriter was born in London on the 22nd of August 1995. The singer-songwriter signed to Warner Bros Records in 2014 following her work as an actress and then released her self-titled debut album in the year 2017. It reached the third spot in the U.K. charts for albums and had eight singles, with the most notable being U.K. top ten hit track New Rules and Be the One I.D.G.A.F. Lipa was awarded the Brit Award in 2018 as a British Female Soloist as well as British Breakthrough Artist. The album has been certified platinum in many countries. Dua Lipa was conceived by London in the UK by Kosovo Albanian parents Anesa rexha (mother) and Dukagjin lilipa (father). Her maternal grandmother is Bosnian. Also, it is possible to trace back her ancestors in Peja, the Kosovo city of Peja. The two grandparents of Lipa were both historians. Her siblings are Rina as well as Gjin. Lipa was influenced musically by her father who was the guitar player and lead singer of the Kosovan rock group Oda. She was influenced by her father's music, which included his music compositions and songs such David Bowie Bob Dylan Radiohead Stereophonics Stereophonics. Lipa started singing around the age of five. When she was in her 9th year, she started singing at Sylvia Young Theater School.
